As a ‘woman of a certain age’ Mandy Scotney is one of Sydney’s oldest emerging comedians. She’s also a PhD candidate - so she’s smart, funny … and modest. She's been a RAW State finalist (2023), had a sold-out Sydney Comedy Fringe show in 2024, and can regularly be found in some of Sydney’s best comedy rooms. Known for her warmth and humour, Mandy always brings some sparkle wherever she goes. Catch Mandy at our Sat Arvo show, buy your tickets here lithgowcomedyfestival.com.au/ ... See MoreSee Less

For our wonderful Sunday show we welcome back Thao, that performed at the very first Lithgow Comedy Festival. Originally from a theatre background having studied a Bachelor of Arts (Theatre Theory and Practice) Thao wanted to be an actress but was disheartened because she didn’t see many Asians on TV and the few Asians she did see on TV appeared on border security.
Her comedy can be best described as dry, self deprecating and often politically incorrect. Thao is an award winning comedian and has been very busy doing the comedy circuit performing all over Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra and has also performed at The Adelaide Fringe Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival
In 2023, Thao toured Europe with her solo show Marmalade, and she performed in Spain, Estonia, France, Portugal, Germany, Norway, the UK and Ireland. Thao then completed her four-month long tour, performing her solos show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Buy your tickets here lithgowcomedyfestival.com.au/ ... See MoreSee Less

The Lithgow Comedy Festival 2025 welcomes Michael Vincent!
Michael first graced the stage at the Deadly Funny's (A National Indigenous Comedy Competition) called in 2009 but after spending a few years working on his craft, he came back bigger and better and became a Deadly Funny National Finalist in 2017.
To add to Michael's list of achievements, in 2018 he became ACT RAW Comedy Finalist and has performed in Melbourne, Sydney, Dubbo, Canberra and anywhere you care to put a mic and a spotlight. With 60,000 years of storytelling in his blood, Michael works insanely hard for his community but it's OK, you don't have to be black to laugh! Tickets on sale lithgowcomedyfestival.com.au/ ...
